Synopsis
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved Rs 6,728.33 crore for the construction of eight stretches of NH-913 in Arunachal Pradesh, aiming to enhance connectivity, foster socio-economic progress, and curb migration. The road will also establish crucial road infrastructure, linking river basins and facilitating hydropower projects.
The Frontier Highway construction is expected to curb migration, encourage reverse habitation towards Arunachal Pradesh's border regions, Gadkari added.
